@snotslapkikker Wow you must not be aware of either sport shooting or hunting, both of which require having a gun. The reason you have to have a gun is because it is hard to throw, by hand, pieces of metal at 3000fps. Think of firearms as tools. They serve a purpose for sport and hunting, as discussed above. Apparently guns also make for quick repairs of laptops

What the hell. I really don’t get it. Americans always pretend like owning a gun is a fun and normal thing. A gun is a WEAPON!! Weapons are for the MILITARY!! As a civilian you don’t need a gun…. the only thing u need as a civilian is a job. I know that the possession of a gun ‘make’s you a free civilian’ but that was more appropriate in the sixteenth century. I’m glad i don’t live in the USA where every dude in the street has the ability to shoot me. Weird…

Dell recycling = shipping it to another country and selling it again, or THEM throwing it away, if it doesn’t work.
This is the only way to fix a Dell laptop!

Dude, ever heard about e-waste? By doing this, you have caused unintended harm to the environment.
Those considering safe disposal of their broken laptops could consider free recycling offered by Dell.
All laptop manufacturers should be made to put the recycling options on their home page, instead of hiding it at an obscure location, so that consumers are aware that such an option exists
